In reality it shouldn't even be close as far as what college to choose from out of those 4. The kid wants to play in the NFL I'm assuming. The Pac 10 literally has jackshit for defenses..........Nebraska literally has the best defense in the country with the best defensive line coach.........
But I guess common sense usually doesn't play a large role in the decisions made by these young kids.
So staying close to home is basically outweighing common sense for him. Understandable.....but I will guarantee you right now he would end up being a much better player under Carl than he will be at any school in the Pac 10.
What's sad is she would look back on his years at Nebraska from her Mansion, with a 4 car garage, on a golf course, with a lake out back and say: "Sure am glad I let my son go to Nebraska"
I think we have a great shot at him..... The longer it takes for him to commit the better (if he commit to N now) All of Oregon would be trying hard to sway him.... Announce and sign on signing day
Oregonlive did a clip on youtube where they interviewed him after a practice or something. They asked about distant, asking if he wanted to stay in pac-10 area to be close to home or look outside of the area..OWA stated that distance was not a factor. Apparently that changed in 4 months.
From what I've gathered from interviews and peoples thoughts is that Owa, if he was the only person making the decision, he'd go to Nebraska. I know it's been stated over and over again, but all we need to do is have Bo win over Owa's mama. Let's bring him home c'mon!!!
