vs Southern Miss - W ----- They lose too much, including coaching. Husker crowd will be jacked beyond belief.......we are going to beat Southern Miss in pretty ugly fashion.

@ UCLA - W ----- A brand new coach doesn't change much in the first season when all of your players are underdeveloped. More experienced Husker team wins.

vs Arkansas St. - W----- Easy.

vs Idaho St. - W ----- Easier.

vs Wisconsin - W ----- They lose their QB, 3 Offensive Linemen, top WR, TE, and 5 starters on Defense. This is one of the most inexperienced teams in the country. They will be playing at Memorial Stadium on Homecoming Week........the place will be jacked. Bad timing for the Badgers.

@ Ohio State - L ----- First time in the shoe. Taylor still isn't the grown man we want him to be in his 4th year. We won't score enough points.

@ Northwestern - W ----- Northwestern this year is the equivalent of Minnesota last year. They have a speedy young little QB, but too much inexperience all around. They lost a ton from last year.

vs Michigan - L ----- I just plain think Michigan is the best team in the conference this season.

@ Michigan St - W ----- Here's where you pessimists will start to agree to disagree with me. But we will win this one. For some reason, Michigan St will be that one decent team that we will just always have a mental advantage over.

vs Penn St - W ----- Low scoring as usual......but Penn St will have less points. Returning only 10 starters.......new coach........bringing all that youth to the sea of red.........yea, not gonna happen.

vs Minnesota - W ----- Returning 10 starters. Coming to Nebraska. They have a nice coach, but it aint gonna help.

@ Iowa - W ----- Entire Offensive Line is gone............entire Defensive Line is gone. A team is only as good as they are up front. Iowa is going to struggle this season.......mark that down.

I think it will be 4 over all. I would love 3 cause it would mean we won our bowl or finished 10-2 which would very well put us in the ccg

I can agree with your two losses but we have to have a WTF. We always do.

As for Memorial being jacked and the sea of red. I am starting to lose sight of this from all the gray hairs. Home advantage just isn't what it used to be.

The blue hairs, gray hairs, and Q-tips wouldn't be significant if NU would up the success level to Top 10 caliber.

They were there in the 90's when Memorial Stadium was jammin'.

The last time I remember the crowd 'really' getting into it was against Texas when it started snowing late in the game. The place lit up.

That fumble is the story of Nebraska football for about 10 years now.They're stuck one gear ahead of the Missouri's of college football.

As for the conference season, OSU, Mich, Wisc, Penn St, and Mich St are all toss ups at best. Then you have Minn, Iowa, and NW. The homer/hater in me will NEVER allow me to pick a loss to Iowa for Nebraska. That isn't even counting the WTF game that we will lose.

Experience???? What experience? The QB experience? Do you remember who that QB is? The secondary experience? The same secondary that was horrible last year and now they have to learn from a new coach with out the cushion of our best DB? The OL experience? The same OL that is replacing a center that may not have been the best player ever but was really smart and was the glue there? Also remember that that OL is supposedly coached by the worse OL coach in the history of OLs? There are a lot more holes than those on this team.

I really think we have a great advantage over Wisconsin and Penn State though..........I will truly be disappointed if we lose those games.

This absolutely is the most experience overall that Bo has returned from a previous season. It may not be all-stars that we are returning........but it is a group of guys who at least saw playing time.

Wisconsin and Penn State are both literally rebuilding and simply hoping for a decent season in 2012 at this point.

Maybe Wisconsin but Penn State is 10 weeks in to the season. Most programs don't require 3 years to be considered experienced.
