20 TD, 3,500 passing yards, 7 INTs for Tanner Lee?

They are discussing it on 1620 right now and I think it's an interesting question.

Over, Under, Over

TD passes to backs puts him over 20.
Balanced offense keeps him under 3500 yds.
7 seems like too few.

I agree about the unknown. He has not even thrown a pass in a Big Ten game. Add in the questionable O line and the bigger, faster defenses of the B1G Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa(I know what you are thinking)

Looking at last year of Tulane

Attempts 276
Comp 143
Percent Comp 51.8
Yards 1639
TD 11
INT 7

Tommy Armstrong 2016
Attempts 294
Comp 151
Percent Comp 51.4
Yards 2180
TD 14
INT 8

I will go
1. under 20 TDs this is the one I have the least confidence in. I think Riley/Langsdorf will turn him loose in the first five games to see how it goes

2. under 3500 yards (this is the one I feel the most confidence in I would even make an avatar bet on this)

3. over 7 INTs since he will be throwing more, more chance of an INT

Oh Lord, 4 INTs in one game.

Not throwing in the towel on him tho. He can make some throws. Just didn't do it tonight when he had an opportunity to do so.

The 42-14 deficit was not Tanner's fault.

There is no defensive pressure on the QB, that is probably the number one issue for Nebraska.

I disagree on Tanner though. Some of his passes were overthrown. He missed wide open guys, which he supposedly does not do. Tanner has pretty much decided Stanley Morgan is the only receiver on the team.

I think Tanner Lee let the nerves get to him. Which is understandable.

If Tommy Armstrong would have thrown 4 INTs in a game, it would have been his fault.

If Taylor Martinez would have thrown 4 INTs in a game, it would have been his fault.

I think the O line played well considering Nebraska was pretty much a passing team in the second half, and I think Special Teams played up to their usual standards, which is pretty good.

Tre Bryant and Stanley Morgan are studs.

Stanley Morgan started out rough. Very rough. He was very much a part of the reason we only had 14 at half.
Not putting it all him and not saying he is no good, though I probably would have benched him after the second drive, which in hindsight would have been the wrong thing. But he was not ready to play either.

The 1st int look like Stanley was looking directly into the sun. And the 4th one didn't a Duck guy hit his arm.

Yep. The 1st INT went through Stanley's hands, bounced off his facemask, and into the DB's hands. Returned 35 yds to the NU 20.

One INT was because Lee's arm got hit while he was throwing, but can't remember which one.

Lee was 9 of 14 (64%) in the first half, but just 10 of 24 (40%) in the 2nd half.

Not sure I can blame him too bad as they were out of their game playing catch-up. No balance on offense.

In the 6th possession of the 2nd half, Lee was 1 for 5. He was overthrowing a lot about that time. His rcvr's had their guy beat, but Tanner had lost touch.

The INT on 1st and 10 on the last posession (2:47) from mid-field was like a dagger to the heart.

Yeah it does.

I want it to go to the replay booth officials!! This thread is about Tanner Lee PASSING, not rushing. Do his yards rushing count?

Arkansas State Tanner Lee -7 yards
Oregon Tanner Lee -13 yards
