OV v. Crosby

no, I didn't see that one. Weird Al Yankovic tweeted the May the 4th thing this morning, took me a couple of minutes to figure it out.

Judging by the sweep the Pens without Malkin and Crosby are better than the Caps with OV

It's weird the teams have fallen to each other or the same team for several years now. Judging by us winning a series, and you not winning one, you'd be wrong. Judging by nothing either did this season meant anything - they'd be tied.

I'm more worried that we might never see the 100% versions of either of these guys again. OV doesn't seem to be the same - maybe it's a blip, but time will tell. And head injuries, well, we've seen them end careers quickly.

Here's hoping both guys come back to the top next year. I want to see them clash for years to come.

Agreed. I will say this and have stuck by it to this day. I see Crosby as the better "leader", but OV's style of play is much more exciting to watch. However OV has taken a dip this year, and Sid was on the path to an amazing season, but shit happens, thats hockey. No ones fault. They can both kiss my ass though.

Exactly, fuck both of them. I do thinjk Crosby is the better leader of the two, but honestly I dont think either are really leaders. i think the Pens and Caps just wanted to make their #1 franchise players captains

I think both guys are leaders in the room. But more so I think they're more leaders on the ice. They're play is what sets them apart. I think both are pretty good leaders for young guns though. When these guys hit their primes in a few years (God willing) and have more experience, I guarantee they'll be more vocal guys. I can't speak for OV, because I don't see him play as much as Sid, but Sid is constantly talking to guys on the bench about things he sees happen, etc. I fully support him being Captain. And can't say there's someone that would be better suited in the Pens room. For the Caps, I always thought Knuble is the in the room guy, OV the on ice guy.

Orpik would be a great captain of any team, and without Sid, he would be the captain no doubt.
