well worst case scenario just happened unless the wings miracle a series win
Meh, I'm not sure facing Chicago is the worst case scenario. With Bolland out and not due back anytime soon Handzus is their 2nd line center. Chicago is still a great team but the Sharks can skate with them now with the line up they are icing. It also won't be a very physically taxing series which will be a huge benefit should the Sharks move on.
Who has the advantage (if anyone): Niemi, knowing much of the Hawks roster or the Hawks, knowing Nemo's tendancies? Sharks, having the extra rest or Hawks, keeping sharp while the Sharks rest?
Any (off-ice, duh) advantage to Chicago having Handzus on their team now?
Like, anything he can tell them about plays/philosophies the SJ coaches hammer into the players?
Or is that stuff not so "secret" and scouts already pick up everything they would need to share, etc.?
Just thinking out loud but it shouldn't be a Hawks advantage (having Handzus in their locker room), right?
Good Job Detroit! Way to force a game 7.
Just one more win Detroit and you get to play Chicago next, go for it!
*also I hope the Blues force a game 7 cmon beat each other the hell up! :boxing: take some cheap shots, spear, slash, high elbows, head shots do whatever it takes to win the series.
Elliot wtf were u thinking? Letting that pancake eater Penner score on a slap shot around the blueline with .03 seconds left in the 2nd period!
Looks like the Kings just might take this series after that shot.
Nabby's SV% for the series? 0.842, I think.
That's pathetic.
If the Islanders had a real goaltender that didn't shit the bed, they would have won this series.
