my thoughts on the off season are i think we picked up some good free agents . i think we drafted pretty well last year and it appears we did so this year . i feel like there is more depth , explosion and speed .

but also understand this is OTAS and minicamp with no pads etc . we all have seen the practice guy studs turn into game day turds

the preseason games should be telling for a lot of key guys

in future days i am going to focus on our young guys (BU'S ) and such and see where they are at . most of you will take a break for now until there is something going on but i know the board will stay fairly active .

just wanted to say thanks to you guys and gals who come here and talk football and have made this board the top team board on SportsHoopla

you should be proud of the fact that our topics you guys come up with show up as the most talked about topics in SportsHoopla as we are usually having 5 or more top discussions per week and we are right there with the general boards as far as traffic .

we also have a great influx of visitors who bring a great deal of input here as well so many thanks to them as well

No, but its competition which sound like the D is having fun. In an earlier RR presser, he mentioned how CY and MS can be more impactful by "disrupting" plays even without the sack. That is what he is looking for more this season from the DL, disruption! This is great practice trying to produce these results even though it matters not now. I like it!

He just mentioned in his press conference that the advantage goes to the DL in these practices and being a former football player I am sure you know this. The OL does not do all the things in OTAs and camp as they will when live bullets start flying. Save the knees now ... ... I think the DLine will be awesome. They need to find some quality backup at DE and LBer.
