a couple albums others have mentioned here that i love and probably make it into my top 3 from time to time:

beatles--abbey road, but really any of them will do.

pixies-doolitltle

radiohead--ok computer, though i think i like the bends a bit better. sulk is one of my all time favorite songs.

a few other albums that make the rotation--

wilco--yankee hotel foxtrot

descendents--somery (its a greatest hits album but i didn't know it the first times i ever listened)

portishead--dummy

postal service--give up

beach boys--pet sounds

sorry just so hard to limit.
