To top things off, I called Avis about renting a car for the week until mine is repaired. I told them I have a debit/credit card and they said that was fine. I go to pick the car up Sunday and they 1st say there's a $200 fee for debit cards which will be refunded when payment is made, then they say they have to run a credit check and I'm turned down!!!!! What the fuck, a credit check on a debit card?!!!

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure if I was going to say anything on here or not but then I figured I talk to you all as much as I talk with most of my family anyway. Plus I'm not well known for keeping my mouth shut.

It has actually been going better than I thought so far. In difficulty lies opportunity and what I have here is an opportunity to correct some things in my life that I wasn't happy with. I have a good network of friends and family to support me and my career has been going very well lately.

My life is going to continue to be pretty damn awesome, she just doesn't get to be part of it anymore.

If it's any consolation, I had another friend with a similar issue (not a co-worker, but HIS best friend) and while it was tough for a while, five years later, he's in a better relationship, much happier and his (ex) best friend cheated on her and left her with nothing.
