Life just sucks right now. Had to move into a shitty neighborhood, and now I'm losing at least 2 days pay because as I was leaving for work today, something in my rear brakes blew out (brake fluid all over the driveway now). What the fuck!!!!

guess so, thats what I was used to growing up

no mom + pop liquor stores in Virginia or NC
all ABC (government owned and regulated) for liquor.
Beer + wine avaialable everywhere.

In Maryland, you can just get beer/wine at the grocery store, gas stations, convenience stores, etc. Then they sell that plus hard liquor at liquor stores, but they aren't state-run in Maryland, though I think certain counties might have them.
