if you haven't seen it yet...do it. especially if you're a pixar fan. now, i'm a HUGE pixar fan (mostly because it began with my generation in mind) and this was probably...well, it's hard to rank them. but it was awesome. i cried like a baby (because i just left for college last year and can completely relate) and it was just....good.

I just got back an hour ago from it. And I agree. If you like the first two, go now. Heck, just go, period!

ya know, i heard everyone saying 'oh i cried' and i knew going in that i would (because i cry in...well every movie.), but for some reason it just caught me off guard. pixar's been doing that lately...so emotional. UP was hard too...and right at the beginning.

The whole college thing was so depressing, especially when you can relate to that in the recent past. I was pretty happy that Andy basically grew up with us as the years passed instead of making him the same age,

awesome movie

While openly not a fan recent animated movies, including other pixar movies, I did enjoy the first two Toy Story movies. They used writing and actual jokes, not just pop culture references strung together, in the first two.

yeah, i was happy that we got to see his mom too. that always bugged me in the first two. but i love that he grew up. i mean, basically i've been the age of him in each release. at least really close. though i gotta say, not too many 17 year old guys i know would do what he did for that little girl at the end. hah

How did your parents take the news? Did you make them watch a live action movie to deal with your lifestyle?

I grew up with Toy Story. Haven't seen Woody and the gang yet, but I plan on it soon. :D

I didn't cry, but I thought it was pretty sad, made my eyes watery. What I loved about the first two were that I could watch them 10 years later and get jokes I didn't the first time.

Agree 100%. I watched 1 and 2 I think it was last Friday and found myself laughing a lot to my surprise. Now on to the bigger question of why I was watching toy story on a friday night...
