Why this student collected more than 50,000 golf balls out of the ocean

latest

"That's because a good majority of golf courses are located on the coasts, where golf balls easily end up in the ocean."

I can recall playing only 1 course over the years (out of 100+), where a golf ball could make it to the ocean. So I find the claim that golf balls from the majority of American courses can "easily" end up in the ocean to be highly dubious. Ocean trash is clearly a problem, but I doubt golf balls are even a marginal portion of that debris.

But thats about $9-11K in golf balls most likely, so good on them for cleaning 'em up.

I've left more than one Titleist in the drink here.

I am glad they will destroy the PIN upon a rival. Comeds, this means they will write your PIN on Jenkins from accounting and then set him on fire.

Lmao! I love that the address is "Barclays Debit Card Factory." The factory is the return address I always see when getting a new debit card in the mail.

I liked the "Molton Keynes" because (a) Milton Keynes is a real place, and (b) "Molton" with the fire references.

I might just lay up on that par 3. ;)
I've done that a bunch too, if I have a good round going.
Pin always seems to be on left sde. taunting you. daring you. calling you names.

Its about 185 from the whites, but the ocean breeze wreaks havoc.

I gamble too much with my game (IE taking risks not betting) but it doesn't help it is not good game either. Anyway I would hope that I catch one of those bunkers.

185 you say? Back in my playing days that's a knockdown 9 iron, a canoe and a beer. And probably throw a lung dart or two in there.
