Fortunately, we don't have too many rattlesnakes on Vancouver Island, thus I feel pretty safe when I dip my kayak into the water.

/There's a ton of them in the Medicine Hat area where I grew up though.

I won my department's Outstanding Graduate Teaching award, and today we had the awards breakfast where I got my plaque.

They misspelled "Graduate" on it.

I won the award for "Outstanding Gracuate Teaching."
