The Costco in downtown Vancouver is in the pedestal of a residential tower. The tower was not built by Costco though (theyre just a tenant). Been there 20 years.

They have a location in Burnaby with the typical big box layout that is in an area of resi tower development that could be redeveloped if they wanted to I suppose (mind you I think the soil could be an issue in that area). btw that Burnaby location is the 8th highest revenue grossing Costco location in the world

Best vantage point to watch is 2fl of the Starbucks.

gonna get even better this summer with the influx of visitors combined with fewer parks staff after the department got gutted ... looking forward to some magats getting dissolved in acid pools because they cant read the signs and there is no one there to tell them not to go for a refreshing swim
