Really? Kind of gritty, dirty, dangerous.
CHiPs made me want to be a cop. Riding around all day on motorcycles smiling at my partner.

Oh it's a far superior show than CHiPs and the normal 70/80s cop shows. It's just their more realistic world view didn't often make being a cop as glamorous as some of the silly shows did.

Role call seemed fun though. And getting in a bathtub with Veronica Hamel seems fun.

Lol I think I was so young when I first saw one of the bathtub scenes I thought that looked like a bad idea. Crowded and sitting in someone else's filth....yuck

I've often wondered why panels aren't basically an automatic on roofs of new buildings.
There was a company I looked at many years ago trying to o this in Ontario, but it basically added $150k+ to the cost of a single family home, and they were talking about payback period in the 30 year range.
The economics just made no sense.

There was a McDonald's about 100 yards from my mother's house when i grew up. I may have done permanent damage to myself during the 84 summer Olympics. With the Soviets boycotting, the US medalled in everything. And McDonald's game was a sandwich for every gold, fries for silver, and a drink for bronze.
So much McDonald's that summer. So much. Luckily I was a kid and running around all day
