Personal story. Those were the cigarettes of choice for my mom. Showing my old age, when I was kid still in grade school was able to go to the local convenient store and buy them for her.

But my dad used to call those shit and only smoked Camels, well until he was diagnosed with emphysema and then switched to Marlboro Lights. Because you know they were better for him. :L I facepalm that but looking at it almost 25 years later it is sad and funny at the same time.

My cigarette story (and showing my old age) was my dad would give me money to buy him cigarettes and also tossed me a quarter which back in the day would get you a pop and a chocolate bar (15 cents for the pop and 10 cents for the bar). I'd hop on my bike to ride to the store and return with the cigarettes and my mom would just start yelling at my dad to go get his own damn cigarettes lol

Oh yeah, boy brought back memories. :suds:

I would get a candy bar for 25 cents and then the 25 cent Turners Ice Tea in the carton.

They were perfect when done you would pop the carton to make a loud noise and then put it in the spokes of your bike. Worked so much better than baseball cards.
