I guess there's actually a debate going on, where some groups are arguing that minorities may feel inflamed that the U.S. flag is in schools. So they're pushing to have it banned.

I like the fact that at the school my daughters attend, they start each school day by singing the national anthem. Of course, I think they should follow it up by having the teacher call up two students and have a ceremonial face-off...

Its taking an isolated incident, one where the principal acted incorrectly IMO and extrapolating it into the flag being banned. How out of character for that "news" organization!

The incident happened in May, and the poll was put up in May. No one was or is seriously debating banning the flag in America. Its just over the top sensationalism.

Well, when I see something that is just utter ridiculous, I post it. News sites are always going to be biased. I would have to admit that I'll watch Fox news before CNN.

Today on CNN they were badgering the guy who leads some small churgh about wanting to burn the Koran. Meanwhile in Afghanistan they're burning the American Flag & throwing rocks at our tanks & troops. Why is one okay & the other wrong?

I'm sick & tired of my country taking care of other countries problems. Let them deal with their own issues themselves. We need to focus on our own mess.

They're both wrong. The problem I have with CNN is they're making a big deal about a small church wanting to burn the Koran but not covering the whole story.

There take is it's wrong because it could endanger our troops overseas. Meanwhile they're burning the American Flag & throwing rocks at our tanks & troops & CNN gave me the impression that it's okay for them to do so because of what one pastor of a small church wants to do on 9/11.
