I'm not afraid to admit when I was 3 or 4 years old I got my first glimpse of Gene Simmons. It was in a commercial for a KISS concert. They were playing at the San Diego Sports Arena for a few dates I guess. When he stuck his tongue out & the blood flowed it scared the crap out of me.
