I don't think they could go as far as they did in the comics in this regard, I think it would be too costly and/or hard.

If they do the scene with Michone and the Gov even HALF as nasty as the comic, they may have to move to HBO or Showtime.

I was extremely uncomfortable reading that issue.

But that came right after Rick and the Gov's time together, and right about the time we met Stokey in the comics.

I agree. He is in every scene, so going THAT far would be tough.

How will they handle Carl? I suspect they will pass on that whole storyline. WAY to much makeup work to be done on a constant basis for a series.

Not sure how much I agree with this statement.

The last scene we saw was Andrea's death. You can't diverge much further from the comic than that.

I still suspect that Rosita will take on a lot of the Andrea storyline.

well obviously they cant with the exact characters but they can with the story line. for example they can follow the tyrese/carol storyline still. they an follow the tyrese fights rick storyline. they can have tyreses sister (instead of daughter) murdered by a new person in the prison which I really believe the trailer indicated is going to happen. they threw out what happens to the characters early in the series with shanes story on how long he lasted. but I think they can still follow it more closely. btw Im only at the point where rick and tyrese beat the fuck out of each other in the book

I think Hershel will play the Dale role in the Hunters story, and I think that will be the mid-season finale.

I like the TV version of Carol better than the comic version, but I think her time has come.

I try to suspend my disbelief for these kinds of shows. The virus is in all of us and gets us even if we die naturally? Okay. More than a year has past and the gang has not planting any food in a long time but is still eating okay because they found some potatoes and rice? Fine, whatever. More than half a dozen single men in and out of the group that haven't gotten laid in months (or years) and nobody has even tried to bang Beth yet? Too much.
