Apparently Mazzara left due to conflict with creator/producer Robert Kirkman. Word is that Kirkman wants to retain too much control, and AMC backs him up because they think they need him for the fanbase.

I'll be honest, I stopped watching as soon as I saw Michonne sneak up on and defeat three armed men in broad daylight with her katana.

and yes I think they could be crack shots in the season 2 finale lol but of all the parts that I actually shook my head at is an army group shot to death by surprise by untrained people when the governor had them killed. you would think those guys would have lookouts everywhere being trained like that for walkers.
