Sad because this little show on AMC is getting comparable ratings to some major network shows.

yeah I agree Puck but how many times should they push it. They want 7 years. or at least Mazzara did not sure if that changes things. Ill trust it for now. but if its not what I like Im going Ricktatorship on this show

I got this one for Christmas:

Haven't read too much of it but there are already quite a number of differences from the show. Like I haven't seen Daryl or Merle yet, Shane isn't around very long, and Tyrese is introduced pretty early on and has a daughter with him.

yah they are compilations of a # of issues but Im not sure how many of each individual comic are in each book

chapters online is $24 ... amazon.com is $21

(chapters in the store is $43 ... i got book 2 to 5 as gifts but i bought #2 in chapters store before xmas ... returned it of course lol)

Im considering buying the rest because while characters and some elements are the same the plot timeline isnt 100% exactly the same (ie who dies when)

Im not as worried at comic book spoilers anymore they are changing so much. and I really expect everyone but Rick and Carl to die so it doesnt matter. Im almost ready to read the whole comics

I agree, I think the lube supply would run out at some point though.
What else happened up to book 5, I cannot remember when what happens. Have the infected animals been showing up yet?

they take that turn at the interstate to go back to Ricks police station to get more guns and ammo and find it has been turned into a casino by a group of survivors
