im worried about this character actually. Im worried they are going to make her superhero awesome to give that wow factor. It would take away from the darkness of the show and turn it into more action. I hope they dont go that route.

Agreed. It's ridiculous to complain about a show about zombies becoming over the top, but I really don't want them to go over the top in an attempt to outdo themselves.

yeah I know how fictional this is supposed to be but what MAKES this show so great is that its not the fact that zombies are tearing people apart that is the bonus its the way the characters are acting and developing in this world. that is the appeal to me in the Zombie genre I do LOVE the gore and the effects and the makeup but the story is what does it its just the end of everything and you area ALWAYS running always worrying that around the next corner your done. turning it into action cool takes away from that. 100 zombie every episode takes away from that. I love they way they are going. I REALLY enjoyed the farm season. Im going to go nuts for the prison season as long as they dont turn it action but the Governor vs Rick is going to be the key

I haven't read the comics, but I did some research on her when she showed up at the end of season 2.
She pretty much has that wow factor.

I agree that it's the human characters that make the show. I'm not really a zombie-movie buff but I love the show. With Shane and Dale gone they need to introduce some new cool characters or some old ones are going to need to step up. I can't see the dynamics being anything close to what it was with Shane around. He was a great character. Maybe some characters from season 1 will resurface this season. When Randall was still alive I was hoping that maybe Morgan, Merle, or the Mexican family would appear as part of that group.

i believe morgan will return. I know that merle is at the prison (no secret at all with the way they have dropped pictures and interviews) the mexican family will never be seen again I think (not that interesting anyway) the Governor is going to be something I think he will carry it and we will see a new Rick to deal with it which is going to be very interesting.

I just dont want Sigourney Weaver Alien Resurrection or even Aliens heroine I want Sigourney Weaver Alien heroine on the edge of losing her cool but keeping it together when it matters but still freaked the fuck out. that is what I want from Michonne but I know I won't get it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

We knew The Walking Dead would return in October, but the premiere date was officially announced at Comic-Con. Showrunner Glen Mazzara announced that, for those in the US, The Walking Dead Season 3 will premiere on October 14th at 9PM on AMC. The show will role out globally the following week and we’ll keep an eye out for individual country/territory premiere dates.

The Season 3 trailer just screened at the convention and most of the main cast has taken the stage. We’ll post a new story with more updates when the panel has wrapped.

judging by the beards Im thinking they are going to be in the woods for a while before finding the prison. a few days at least maybe a couple weeks.
