i can't tell if this is a spoiler to take away some suspense for me or not. I know more characters will die some sooner than the comics some later. new ones will come in and will be well liked and they will die. so I expect this. but when I read this I can't determine if this is spoiler enough.....

do you want to talk adaption to the TV or the comic series itself. I think the comic series itself should get its own thread as those would create major spoilers or at least come with a SPOILER WARNING to start the post and then post the rest in small white so we dont accidentally read it like I did this one my own fault.

I will read the comics but since I got the show first I need to finish that.

I try to avoid spoilers, but with the huge amount of differences the show and the comic series have had I would have no confidence that the show will introduce all the same characters or that they would have the same story lines or fates. There have already been a number of deaths on the show that surprised me, characters that may not have died then in the comics or even at all in the comics.

Sorry, I'll try harder, and anything remotely spolierish I will tag like this, so minor I am not sure its is but just in case, and to possibly ease your minds. Basically just information saying that nothing has been really spoiled or given away.

The series has had 19 episodes, the comics have 98 issues and has been going on 10 years. The character in question was not even introduced until after issue 50 - 5 or 6 years into the series and well past the point of any plot line even hinted at in the TV series. So even if he/she is eventually in the show, it would not be for a long time unless they would change his/her whole story up and in that case I wouldn't expect the same fate. In this series/comic knowing that an un-named character is going to die, is not a spoiler because a lot of people die and continue to die.

And about the prison, do not make any big assumptions from the previous posts, it may not be exactly what you think. Plus it may really deviate from the comics. And like with the character, one could name almost any setting there was in the comic and there would have been some bloodshed there. So knowing something bad happens in place A isnt really a spoiler because bad things happen all over the place.

I think the only thing we can probably safely assume about the show following the book is the settings that the story takes place in(season 1 outside of Atlanta, season 2 in the farm, season 3 in the prison, etc). Also major plot points such as the Rick/Lori/Shane thing. Everything else is anybody's guess.

yeah that's just awful.
apparently had videos of himself killing cats a while ago, and then included a message of something like "Once you have a taste for blood, it can't be tamed. I'll be back, and this time it won't be animals"
Police got the tape of him stabbing the victim, but dismissed it as a hoax.

didn't know he dated Homolka, but it makes sense. she's pretty fucked up too.
she was upset she couldn't offer her own virginity to her equally crazy boyfriend, so drugged her little sister (14, I think) and offered that up instead. The sister ended up dead, of course.
