everyone knows Im a huge supporter of this series. well I have one doubt now about the virus everyone carries.
so if everyone carries it and like all zombie movies/genre its passed by death or saliva or blood, scratch or bite.....
so why is shane and lori not zombies after their chicca bow wow wow in the forest
or rick and lori zombies after then badda bing badda boom in the tent
aids is passed by sexual encounters, why is this not if everyone is infected.
Im emailing this to the show producers.
Everyone is affected but I do not think the virus kicks in until there is a lack of oxygen. Everyone is a carrier until they die, unless they are bit. Or something like that?

I am sure I am thinking about it too much, but if everyone is infected already I wonder why a bite non fatal bite matters. I cannot recall, has anyone been non fatally bit in the series? It would explain why they can get dead blood and guts all over them without any problems.
Every bite is fatal. It's the bite that kills, and death makes you turn regardless of how it happens unless you get shot in the head.
yeah that is typical of the genre. the only other time I saw anything close to a reference that you can turn without being bit was in Land of the Dead (the last decent/ok/passable Romero movie - Survival and diary were utter pieces of shite) and they really nailed the genre with this show. Im just trying to get more of an understanding of how this works.
some zombie movies dont even have a reason why zombies raised and the infected spread more. this one has been the BEST Ive seen ever (Night of the Living Dead was of course so amazing, as was Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead but being in the 60s, 70s, and 80s they had those draw backs of the era in how they filmed etc...)
Yeah none of the CDC stuff is in the book so I'm interested to see if they go any further on how it all happened.
THERE IS NO NEW WALKING DEAD TONIGHT

I am waiting for that.
It has to be a man-made thing that got loose, right?
Sorry for the spoiler, but they discover that they have all been dead the whole time and that it was Earth all along.
If my theory is correct and people in Japan are in fact turning into zombies from the radiation, then this is how it all starts in North America.

Do zombies poop?
No, they don't, they only have a brain telling them to eat.
