Guys, I am starting to thing Terminus is not the safe sanctuary its purported to be.

Something that I didn't understand from the finale was the field scene with the random guy that screamed help and Carl took off running after. What was the point of that scene? I understand Rick not wanting to help him because he was already surrounded by walkers, but where did the guy come from? It's like he just randomly showed up.

My theory is he was a "plant" by terminus, to keep Rick and crew moving towards Terminus.
I think the Termites have been scouting the surviving humans for awhile, with the whole way of the railroad tracks, set up to ensure everyone arrives to Terminus safely...the houses along that stretch were clean...looked like someone was still there. There was food neatly stacked in the cupboards, weird paintings on the wall, including one that resembles the cook lady.
The whole idea of the tracks to terminus, AND the herding once they arrived mimics the rabbit-hunting scene. I think the terminites had been scouting them the whole time...knew everything about them, and knew damn well when they came in the back way AND exactly how they would react.
Sorry, but this is one of the most contrived theories I have ever heard about the the show.
One of the Termites agreed to be eaten by walkers so someone on the tracks could have a show? What would be gained by this? Just to potentially nudge them a little bit this way instead of that? Seems to be a waste of perfectly good meat.
As for stocking all the houses on the tracks, this seems counter-intuitive. What is the incentive? It seems they would lose more people to moving into these houses than they would encourage to move on to Terminus.
However, one thing I do not get is why Darryl and the others never came across any of the Terminus signs on their numerous scouting runs over the last 6 months. Michone had pretty much been all over Georgia looking for the Gov. She never saw a sign?
Also, we have seen them come across usable cars all the time on their scouting runs. They found the one the young hippie couple was using when Carrol was booted by Rick. Now no one except Abraham, Rosita and Eugene are able to find a car (and then only when they separate from Glenn and Tara)? That is just weird.
It's obvious to me, that the rabbit-hunting scene is a metaphor for their capture by the termites.
The tracks and its immediate surrounding are a set-up, just as the trail and its immediate surroundings are, leading to the noose.

The writers definitely hide clues en sech for a reason. The creepy painting in one of the houses near the tracks, is a dead-ringer of the creepy terminus leader, and leads me to believe that the houses are apart of terminus or in their control.
To me, the fact that the termites were fully prepared, expecting their arrival...knowing that they sneaked in the back, having the perimeter fully secured and ready suggests that their "camp" is much bigger than just the building. Coupled with the lack of guards at the entrance and lack of locks on the gate and the lack of actual zombies, makes me think that they are secure on a bigger scale, somehow.
Maybe....how do secure a bigger perimeter while leaving the tracks open, without losing soldiers?
They obviously have some warranted sense of security with that wompy fence and no guards or locks??
The lack of guards, locks and zombies is what confuses me the most about terminus.
Okay, okay....just seems that if you had human scouts out around the fenced terminus, it wouldn't be enough to keep the zombies at bay, if say a herd came thru or something. And that the loss of scouts vs. security-gained wouldn't be worth it. So where does such a sense of security in this zombie-filled world come from?
I find it curious. That's all.
