Actually my small town, right outside of Nashville, is suppose to be the best place to view it. 2 minutes and 40 seconds of totality. People from all over the world are in Gallatin, TN tonight. No meetings here. Just one big party.

We have been warned about it all summer. Safety precautions are written in the paper everyday. They even gave special glasses that you place on your outside pets. I just drove to the market to pick up a few things. These science / astronomy people are all over the place. This to them is like the Cowboys winning the Super Bowl - I guess.

I stared right ot the eclipse for at least 3 minutes. Of course we were completely cloud covered, with no way to know the exact location of the sun.
