OT: Subject: WW II Vets Documentary Movie

Hi everyone. A friend sent me this link. It is for a 2 minute you tube video trailer for an upcoming documentary on WWII veterans. This documentary is due to be released in November of this year. It is worth a couple of minutes to view this trailer. I am looking forward to the program. They are trying to get 50,000 views before Memorial Day. You need to view the whole thing to be counted. (Only 2 minutes.) This is a trailer for a full-length feature documentary about a program to honor WWII vets. My dad fought in the South Pacific so these documentaries have a special place in my heart (he's no longer with us but I know this documentary would make him proud). I hope you'll all take a couple minutes to watch the trailer and send the info along to at least 5 friends/relatives.

That is some good shit, there!!! I can't wait to see that. I got to see the WWII memorial last year in March. The fountain wasn't on then, but I was still impressed. Like most of the veteran monuments in The Mall, it is very powerful.

Being a world war II junkie, this is very interesting. We are all accustomed to watching documentaries about the war itself, but rarely the heros after the fact.
