start at 3/1 in favor and 9/1 against

Don't want to make odds like that for a binary chance. I'd just bet half of everything I had on each line. If there is a season, I get paid 3/1 and end up 50% richer than I started. If there isn't one I get paid 9/1 and end up 350% richer. Or I could bet 3/4 on the 3/1 odds and 1/4 on the 9/1 odds and either way I end up with exactly 225% of my original money.
