FortySix, it happens. My dog is a shepherd mix and he is up to 6 rabbits and one bird on his killed list. Luckily, for me, once they stop running he loses interest so they are not really opened up when I pick them up.

The most recent one was two weeks ago and I thought he was getting close to one and maybe catch it but he came to the back door real quick so I figured the rabbit escaped. It didn't. I picked this one up and he was too successful of a rabbit, he was really big and fat. I don't know how he fit through my fence.

I guess i should mention that he is around 25 pounds. lol That's the first thing people bring up when they see him. Not really fat at all either.
