I bought this one in Japan for $80. It was fantasticHibiki 21-year-old blended whisky This Suntory blend of more than 20 Yamazaki and Hakushu whiskies is perfumed, subtle and sweet, with just the right touch of tartness. ($300)

As the Son of a Dad born in Scotland , i come by my love of the "creature" naturally. The Glenmorangie in your picture is very tasty. Have you tried the single malt made in India yet ? I have picked it off the shelf a few times , but never ever taken it to the check out...yet.
Amrut? yes I have it was actually quite decent, not in line with some of the stronger brands but it held its own
Thanks ! That does it , i smell a bottle in my approaching weekends future. Although i will self confess that i do enjoy my single malts with a single cube of ice. My Scottish Dad and Uncles give me the sign of the heretic when i do it , but there it is.
lol. I usually go neat on all of them, but once in a while I put a splash of water in to open up some more peaty ones. my brother added coke to a 25 year old highland park. I just about knocked him on his back. he never got another dram from me again and that was 4 years ago
