OT: Scare In Surrey

Training at the CFL's B.C. Lions stadium in Surrey was delayed nearly two hours this morning, after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the ground.
Initially the CFL team thought it was a prank!
Training was immediately suspended, while police and Security officials were called to investigate.
After a complete analysis, RCMP forensic experts determined that the white substance, unfamiliar to most of the players, was in fact, the goal line.
Practice will resume this afternoon after Police and Security decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

I guess it's possible that our Canadian neighbours never heard that old joke before.

I'll give you this, though: This joke definitely works best for teams with the name "Lions", as the first preseason game can attest.

us northern Lions are on a 7 game losing streak.... kind of hard to overcome in a 19 game season.
our coach has more than twice the amount of career wins and the rest of the coaches in the league combined.
(though, they are quickly catching up this year)... it's just ... shit goin' wrong.

The BC Lions offensive line is in shambles - Hard for a QB to establish much when he's constantly running for his life. I didn't like Chapdelaine when he was here in Calgary, and I see he's doing the same thing in BC (no imagination on offense).
