Not to change the topic(RIP Nelson Mandela) but I didn't hear one peep about the other guy that died with Paul Walker, nobody talked about him, that was really sad

Well he was the one who drove it into a tree killing both of them. ..... that and he was a stunt man or something he liked working behind the scenes anyway.

But the point is, is Paul Walker's death any more sad than the other guy that died with him? It shouldn't be, but it is to a lot of people

That's because of image recognition. People were exposed more to him and his career on the big screen, so they've become more "attached" to him.

When he died, people felt almost as if someone they know had died, so therefore a much larger reaction to just his death than the other guy.

Do you think the person who posts a thread talking about it will say, "Sidney Crosby Dies In Car Accident", or "Sidney Crosby and Joe Schmo Die In Car Accident"?

"Crosby meets windshield"

Rob Anders is an embarassment on the level of Rob Ford...

He's really that fat & stupid? Anyway, RIP Mr. Mandela. Here's to you...

His was one of my favorite stories to learn about...just incredible really. I know in death the best of all is generally remembered, but Mandela was no saint. And I think looking at his "speckled" past is the reason I enjoyed him so much. He matured a lot through the years. He was passionate from the beginning, but developed compassion instead. He made bad decisions, and was violent (there was a reason he was on terrorist watch lists...valid ones), but the change he went through was incredible, and the impact he had was as well.
