I never once was sad that he passed Babe, it was exciting. I do remember the offseason as he sat at 714 he got death threats, or at least that was reported, by those who didn't want a black guy to be the home run king.

I remember that but most of those letters I was drunk, So it was death threats? Damn, sorry Hank

Funny how nobody realizes how great of a defensive player he was. The guy was truly a "baseball Player ". I loved watching him at the plate and especially 715. Hank was all around great and never capitalized on his achievement, he was so humble.
