Trade for Burns, Havlat, and today Shephard.

Pick up White, Handzus, and Vandermeer in FA.

We could still use depth/speed in the bottom 2 lines but I'm liking this team a lot.

Our D is finally stacked. The thing I have been screaming and begging for year after year. Havlat is going to be a huge improvement over that stiff Heatler. Like you said the third and fourth lines are suspect. I'm still waiting for Dougie to handle that.

That's where I'm wondering where Shephard fills in. You figure Fairy - O, McGinn, et. al will fill some of those spots, but I'd like to see another speedster. Joel Ward would have been flat out sick, but too bad he went east.

Heater's contract was an albatross - not much production and hecka slow. Hope Havlat can stay healthy.
