Not really the issue. He touched the ball. Thats a yellow. Ref blew the fact he was fouled and brought to the ground

Yeah, I forgot to mention that fact in my post above, it was pretty clear that Laba was angry that no foul was called on Colorado when he was brought down, the ref indeed did blow that call and made it worse when he sent Laba off.

Just to be clear laba didnt get the yellow for being angry/dissent ... He got it for handball while he was on the ground and stopping play ... If the original foul is called correctly, no handball call, no second yellow

Right, that's what I was trying to say as well, but I worded it poorly.

That first goal for Colorado was just an amazing shot; I don't think Ousted had much of a chance on that one. The second goal, although a well placed shot, looked like it might have caught Ousted a bit flat footed.

Whitecaps had a chance to probably bury Colorado but the keeper managed to get a foot on Morales shot. TSN turning point right there.

I saw the highlights of the 2nd half of the Dortmund - Real Madrid game, Dortmund player rounds the keeper and has an open net only to ring his shot off the post. Should have been 3-3.

Pirlos autobiography comes out in english today

great quote about losing the 05 champs league to Liverpool after leading 3-0:

I’ll never fully shake that sense of absolute impotence when destiny is at work. The feeling will cling to my feet forever, trying to pull me down…

There are always lessons to be found in the darkest moments. It’s a moral obligation to dig deep and find that little glimmer of hope or pearl of wisdom. You might hit upon an elegant phrase that stays with you and makes the journey that little bit less bitter. I’ve tried with Istanbul and haven’t managed to get beyond these words: for fuck’s sake.
