Chivas down to 10 men after only 12 minutes (how about those replacement refs?)

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like the Whitecaps are the team down a man (although the 30 degree heat has something to do with it as well).

Uh oh, Chivas leads 1-nil

I like Manneh.

He's an excellent spark plug.

I hope yesterday's performance was a bit of a blip on the radar; they have to be much better on the road, especially up a man.

That should have been a yellow on Pelletieri. Maybe the guy has a history of being a dirty bastage, but I really thought he should have got the benefit of the doubt.

totally unneccessary and reckless challenge imo ... I guess he should get the benefit of the doubt since the tib fib of Pedro Morales isnt pointing at the ref?

No doubt it was a bad challenge - Ref decided to hand out the red card (I thought it was harsh), but hey, what do I know? However, what I didn't like was how many times I saw a Chivas player undercutting a Whitecaps player who was jumping to win a header (I think I saw Carl Robinson giving the "four" sign to the 4th official (as in that's four times it has happened).

TSN attracted an average audience of nearly 300,000 viewers this past Saturday (March 14), as Defoe scored two goals to lead TFC’s 2-1 victory over Seattle Sounders FC during the team’s season opener –marking a 15% increase compared to the team’s season opener last year.

Saturday’s game ranks as TSN’s third most-watched MLS game ever and the team’s most-watched game since 2011.

Overall, more than 1.5 million unique viewers tuned in to MLS ON TSN to watch some or all of the network’s exclusive coverage of TFC’s season opener, which also featured the debut of American international Michael Bradley, Brazilian Júlio César, and returning hometown star Dwayne De Rosario.
