I'm always amazed by the amount of talent on some of these small ex-Yugoslavian teams, and think of how good a modern Yugoslav team could have been....quickly put together a starting 11 that I think could compete at the highest levels.....

CM - Vukocevic
CM - Modric
LW - Pjanic
RW - Srna
ST - Jovetic
ST - Dzeko

With guys like Mandzukic, Jelavic, Kranjcar, Perisic, Matic, Rakitic and Nastasic on the bench.

Not quite on the Spain/Germany/Brazil level, but certainly as good as anyone in the next group of teams.

Another insane comeback tonight against Austria! 0-1 after 45 and no positive thoughts at all.. but in the second it felt like a whole different team stepped onto the field.. and then Zlatan delivered a nice pass to Martin Olsson who got his first goal in two years.. with about 7 minutes left of the game Kim Källström's precision pass found Zlatan who got it down beautifully with a nice touch and then fired a shot unreachable for the goalie, and it was 2-1 Sweden!

On Tuesday I'm going to the (kind of meaningless now that we're guaranteed the second place in the group) game against Germany, and then I'll fight hard to get a ticket to the final qualifier game next month against another second placed team... so excited!!
