Wednesday should be a win for us. You guys got Sunderland tomorrow. It really sucks that I enjoy two sports that not many people around me follow. Its so hard to find hockey and soccer fans.

these days Im not enough of a hardcore follower to post on a premiership board ... I used to sit down and watch the games on sportnet every saturday morning from 6 (sometimes 4) to 11 and i subscribed to Setanta for a year when it first came out but then the wife and I got this kid and he needs to watch thomas the train or else

also the cdn tv networks have done a good job confusing the fuck outta me in terms of putting games/leagues all over the place ... one year Champions league is on TSN the next its on Sportnet ... some EPL games are on the score ... some were on Sportnet One which no-one had .. now Fox Sports Channel Canada is going out of business so I cant watch my Serie A games on 2 month tape delay

Thankfully this year TSN and Sportsnet are both carrying games on Saturday mornings. I just set the PVR to record both.

Makes sense. I know he wasn't happy about building a new stadium for Liverpool during the financial crisis here in the States. The Stars will be sold next.

I just can't get excited about a sport in which supposedly the best player in the world Cristiano Ronoldo barely gets touched waits a few seconds & then falls to the ground in agony like he's been shot.

lol... I suppose, it can be irritating like any other sport. Why I like it? It doesn't stop. And I really enjoy playing it. Its probably neck and neck with baseball for me. Football I can almost care less about.

The only time I pay attention to Soccer at all is during the World Cup. I'd rather watch AMA supercross or Nascar to be honest. I will say this though it's better than the NBA.
