What is perplexing me, is that if Scheffler (and all other golfers and essential personnel )were told they were allowed to enter the venue, when you pull up and you see somebody trying to stop you, put down your window, tell them who you are and ask that individual if you can go through would seem to be the normal thing to do to me.

To add to this post, I’m not defending one of the other, it seems to me both the cop and Scheffler werein the wrong and it did not need to end up in an arrest over a misunderstanding.

I mean, when there are emergency vehicles flashing their lights, you have to assume that something very serious is currently happening. The last thing you do is attempt to go around and bypass the incident.
