Europeans haven't been skinned alive on American soil like this since the 16th century.

They made up for it in Boston at the Laver Cup this weekend. What a blowout over Team World.

I had to look up the Laver Cup. My tennis fandom has really dropped off in lockstep with overall American interest in the sport. Sad!

Hmmm, it seems that interest in tennis has actually increased during the pandemic (people playing the game).

Makes sense since most outdoor activities have. Near me, pickle ball has freakin' exploded in the last couple of years. They've converted some old tennis courts to pickle ball courts and some of the tennis courts have pickle ball played on them for good chunks of the day.

Surrey's Adam Svensson with a T7 finish at the Sony Open pocketing 230 grand in the process. Nice start to the season.

I'm not a rules expert, but don't the red lines mean OB?

no, the red lines are the boundaries of the hazard. it's completely within the rules to attempt a shot from inside a hazard - the rules are essentially the same as playing from a sand trap - you can't ground your club, not entitled to relief, that sort of thing.

Oh man, you hate to see this - Oakland Hills has hosted six US Opens and three PGA championships. Also the 2004 Ryder Cup.
