Hadwin bogeys 18 to finish at -3 - That's still a darn fine start.

That's a great start.

Woods is sitting at +1. I think that's right where he wants to be after day 1.

Finau not bothered by that ankle. One of only two golfers still on the course tied with the lead at -3.

Also, Sergio had a 13. I've literally never had a 13. I remember a 12 once, a couple 11s, probably a handful of 10s. But a 13?!?

Ipso facto... I'm a better golfer than Sergio Garcia. ;)

Out of the 100 people or so who stop by or post on the reg, how are there only like 3-4 of us who are into golf?

And these are hockey fans, too. They should like swinging sticks. ;)

Shaping up for quite the finish. Reed holding but hasn't done anything spectacular. Spieth charging trying to make the greatest Master's comeback. McIlroy and Fowler hanging close and could do something as well.

Reed's wedge work has just been spectacular. You can hold a lead when that's going strong.

Fowler made it real interesting but not enough. Reed's putting was lights out this tournament (almost nailed that 29 yarder from the fringe).

Great for Patrick Reed! Love his fire, though he kept it pretty even keel most of the day.

Poor Ricky Fowler - so many top 5 finishes at the majors in recent years. I think we'll see him break through this year or next in one of these majors.

Jim Furyk and David Duval are among those tied for the lead right now at the Zurich classic of New Orleans.

It is 2018, right?
