Nikola Jokic is a mid-range assassin with an offensive ceiling that keeps climbing

The Denver Nuggets final have a guy who can carry this franchise. Jokic is 21 years old - plays the post - passes the ball like a point guard (a good one) and shoots the ball lights out from 20 feet and in.

The Nugs finally have a guy they can build a team around.

The guy already has an impressive highlight reel and he is a franchise player. As long as he works on his physical abilities he can supersede Anthony Davis in everything but defense.

Need some resurgence of Colo sports. Broncos and hopefully Buffs continue winning ways. Had high hopes for Colo mens and women's basketball this year but they both are looking like crap now. Colo St women doing good so far. Avs suck. Hopefully Rockies bring it this year. Been a looooong time since Nuggets have been relevant. Hope Jokic is the start of something. I pretty much gave up on NBA. Used to be huge fan. Love to be a fan again and Nuggets could help that happen.....if in a

He has definitely been huge for the nuggets. Just need Mudiay to take that next step. Went to a game last year where he just lit it up and just thought I was watching the future star of the team. All that he needed was to become more consistent well seems like he took a bit of a step back this year. Then of course the 1st round pick this year in Murray to live up to his billing. This team has such potential to actually make the Nuggets a force but time for these young guys to put it together.

They do seem to be putting it together a bit more with each passing week. 4-1 in the last 5 games and the one loss happening with some starters injured and out. They have a real shot to go on a great streak here for a bit. Phoenix, LA, and Minnesota make up 3 of the 4 worst teams in the West. Have to do well during this stretch. They need to win 7 of the next 9.
