Okay, I know a ton of you are passionate about the sport, and I am going to try and follow the sport more closely this coming season even though my team sucks massive donkey dick.

Pretty much created this thread because I am sure there are going to be transactions left and right with the lockout not happening. Free agancy should be pretty wild this coming week, so post anything and everything you hear here...

What are you talking about? The lockout did happen! Alot of important stuff was missed! Like the draft, players getting in trouble with the law, regular season games.....

and honestly, as annoyed as i also was about the whole process, i'm quite more annoyed with fans crying about how "we're the ones hurt in all of this."

no you weren't. nobody kicked your puppy, stole your car or drank your beer. the only thing hurt was your feelings and your naive belief that the players and owners cared about you. they care about one thing, the almighty dollar, and frankly i don't blame them.

the only ones really hurt were the poor peons that work for the nfl and teams that had to be let go. hopefully they can be re-hired now.

Am I happy that I'll have a full season of Steelers football? Yes. But I'm incredibly pissed off with my school and how they're handling all of this. Explanation: The Colts training camp takes place at my school in Indiana. Cool right? No...not at all. They bully us, and it pisses me off. As an AT student I'm assigned to work with certain teams, blah blah blah, and I got football this year. So I have to go back really early for camp (the 9th), meanwhile the Colts are basically already there. They're moving stuff in and setting up shop. Well, I emailed my RD about coming to school early and he said no students can move in until the 20th. That's freaking 11 days. All because some stupid executives need to stay in my apartment building...not even my room. <<Why I hate the Colts.

Its just that, they talked about this "lock out" since the preseason of LAST year. Its pretty much the equivalent of what Vince and the WWE are doing with WrestleMania 28. The day after WM27 they set up 1 of the main events. You cant get more planned than that.

On the plus side for the Skins, the only things holding us back are a lack of talent, poor management, and bad coaching.

Itl be interesting to see if Harbaugh can take the 9ers to the playoffs. They have a pretty weak division so it might be possible, but without a better QB, I cant call them SB contenders.

We have good cornerbacks, good tight ends and a good left tackle. Oh, we also have a decent DL. The Skins have enough talent to fuck it all up and win enough games that they will not be able to draft Andrew Luck.
