The Ontario high school teacher who disrupted a vaccination clinic by allegedly telling his students they could die from vaccinations stormed out of a disciplinary hearing Tuesday after he was found guilty of professional misconduct.

The penalty proposed by the Ontario College of Teachers had been a reprimand and a one-month suspension, after which Timothy Sullivan could continue teaching.

But the panel is debating whether to continue with the hearing after Sullivan fled following the guilty finding.

Earlier in the day, Sullivan spoke in his own defence, telling the panel that he was trying to protect his students.

"What was taking place 10 steps from my door was assault and battery. I had an obligation to go do something about it," Timothy Sullivan said at an Ontario College of Teachers discipline hearing.

Sullivan, who has no lawyer and is representing himself with a sometimes unorganized and unorthodox defence, spoke at the hearing as his own witness Wednesday.

I got a friend request on Facebook from a guy with a profile picture of the Mega Millions logo. There was a letter at the lottery office with my name on it that needed my address to be verified. I fucked with him on messenger for a while building up his hopes that i was a dipshit before i told him he deserves a special place in hell for trying to scam stupid people.

Yeah, the scammers don't bug me too much, because it's pretty entertaining to mess with them. I don't know if they still try it, but the guys calling from *microsoft* to fix my computer were my favourite.

What drives me nuts lately: my job is too write specifications and create prototypes for some corporate tools our agency uses, and then pass them along to our systems engineering division, who create the actual program. It drives me nuts, because their programmers are brutal, and the final product is often slower, with more bugs, than my prototype. It drives me extra nuts because I know how much those guys get paid!
