Around here growing up that was part of the fun. We had to go to ticketmaster which was in a mall so when a big concert would come, camping out overnight to get tickets was part of the fun.

Fun back then, would not be now
Spent more than one night outside the Montgomery Ward at Harford Mall.

Joe is a good choice. Just a monster.
Another one I can say "I saw him back when he had hair"

At this point, I would settle for being able to make any three of those noises in a row, let alone playing all of it.

Jason Bonham on drums? I’m assuming because of the shirt.

he has history with hagar. pretty decent of him to invite roth to help celebrate van halen,s legacy.should bring him a lot of respect from die hard roth only fans of van halen.

i sawhim in the 80s and he opened for sammy hagar before he joined van halen.he opened with could,nt stand the weather cause it had snowed all day.
My biggest concern regret was figuring that I would catch him next time, as I was low on cash at the time.

There was no next time.

clapton was on a helicopter leading him.i was walking around in shock that day.
certainly changed my view of getting experiences where available.
have seen hundreds of concerts since, for example.
some unbelievable shows because heard one tune of a band that i liked and figured what the fuck.

pearl jam with about 1,000 people
screaming trees and smashing pumpkins within days of each other, with less than 200 at each show.
black pistol fire with about 100 <- if you ever get a chance to see these guys, do it. they are still under the radar

on this day in 1981, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts released their first album "I Love Rock and Roll"
this was after her stint in the Runaways, and a couple of solo releases.

Speaking of covers, I didn't know this was a cover until I heard the DJ on the radio mention it. Van Morrison when he was with the group 'Them' did the original, but I prefer this cover by Streetheart.

/I also prefer their cover of "Under My Thumb" to the Stones original
