i was curious if they ever made it outside of Canada.
such an amazing voice.

we had a whole bunch of these hidden gems in the 70s
Streetheart, Harlequin, Chilliwack, Sweeny Todd, April Wine, Downchild Blues Band, Trooper, Triumph, Rough Trade, Doug and the Slugs

seems like Rush was the only one to make it huge internationally

And the thing with Rush is they were very polarizing, you either liked them or didn't care for them.

/Me, fabulous musicians, liked a few of their tunes, but generally speaking I was pretty meh.

i too, am not a fan. three main issues

1. could never get past getty lee's voice.
2. they sound like they are all playing different songs at the same time.
3. I understand that you CAN write a song in 17/4 time, but that doesn't mean that you SHOULD

I just fell down a rabbit hole. The album I had on vinyl was Line Of Fire. I think that came out in 83 or 84.

A quick Google search leads me to believe I actually saw them in ‘86.

They opened for ZZ Top on the Afterburner tour. They played the civic arena 3 days, April 9 thru 11.

I can’t remember which show I was at. Sophomore year of college. It’s all a huge blur lol

Harry Wayne Casey is 72 years old today (better known as KC of KC and the Sunshine Band). You're welcome :D

On this day in 1969, Tommy James and the Shondells started a two week run at #1 on the charts with Crimson and Clover. However, this cover by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts is a much better version in my opinion...

Would like to see Iron Maiden and Soundgarden get in...

Can it really be a hall of fame without Paul "Boom Boom (Let's Go Back to My Room)" Lekakis?
