I went to the Spirits on Fire your last night with The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction.

JA canceled due to a “physical injury.” They also canceled the prior night in Philly.

But they didn’t announce the cancellations in either city until the doors opened.

Pumpkins sounded very good, was a nice set.

did they swap out for a second band, or did the Pumpkins just do a super long set.

They extended the normal set by 2 songs and no encore. 20 song set to 22.


Meg Myers opened the show. I didn’t know who she was. From what I have seen online they’ve always had a 3rd act on the bill this tour. It looks like it differs from city to city.
