i just finished watching the burbs before the game started. i have not seen it in years and i forgot how good it is. what movies have you seen that may not be very popular that you like? i also think clue is a movie that is not popular and is very funny.

I just watched District 9 last night, didn't really know what to expect.
what a great movie. Very smart - has a little bit of everything.. Action, sci-fi, social commentary, etc.

in terms of under the radar gems, here's a couple I mentioned in a similar thread in the swamp.
Men With Brooms - VERY funny movie about curling. really. Written by, directed by, and starring Paul Gross.
The Big Tease - VERY funny movie about hair styling. really. Written by, directed by, and starring Craig Ferguson.
Run Lola Run - non-stop action. Watching Franka Potente for 90 minutes ain't too tough either.
Shaun of the Dead - a zombie comedy. has a cult following, a deservedly so.

a couple of short-lived TV shows that were terrific
Greg the Bunny - Seth Green, Sarah Silverman, Eugene Levy, and a bunch of puppets.
Lucky Louie - Louis CK in a sit-com like no other.
