Maybe you've never heard about Michael Thomas, but Pozz I believe posted earlier in the week that he was signed by the Miami Dolphins. He made huge plays down the stretch in the New England vs Miami game including the game clinch INT. I don't know how many of our practice squad DBs are going to be signed and go out to make impacts for their new team's. It seems it's becoming a habit though.

Why did we not trade for Gordon? :(

Matt Asiata, filling in for Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart, had 30 carries for only 51 yards today but had THREE rushing TDs. Good luck finding too many stat lines like that one from a backup in the last three decades.

We don't even know the true price tag for Gordon.

I would have paid it. Most likely it was around a 1st rounder and I would have given that for him.

Damn KC went up 14-3 on Oakland quick as fuck.

EDIT: Make that 21-3 with Eric Berry's INT return for a TD.

I would have been fine with giving up whatever it was.. having Gordon-Boldin-Crabtree-Davis would have been awesome

Watching the Chiefs and Raiders. Alex Smith continues to impress, they have really opened up this offense and have been throwing more deep and intermediate stuff in the past few weeks and Alex surprisingly enough has responded very well to this. He has carved the Raiders up so far which isn't saying a whole lot but the past 3 or 4 weeks he has been one of the better QBs.

He has had his best season so far, going over 3,000 yards for only the second time in his career and going over 20 TDs passing for the first time in his career.

And Eric Berry with a pick 6 leaves it 21 - 3

Exactly. When you have a chance to get the 2nd best WR in the NFL, you give up whatever pick or picks that are required. Especially when you have a team like ours.

Chiefs game, like last week, might be over after the 1st quarter.

Those guys have been really impressive lately. They have opened that offense up and have been putting up points in a hurry.

What do the local fans and media think of Alex Smith? Do they like him or think he's a game manager and would like to up grade the position?

Saints defense should be flat embarrassed for giving up that 31+ yard TD to STL. Just embarrassing. Had two chances to push him out along the sideline but didn't hit him hard enough, stayed in, and scored.

Nick Folk just made a 54-yarder with ease vs. CAR to tie the game at 3.

They don't really put any game manager titles on his game, they just love him. You have to realize that the Chiefs have had a series of hot poop sandwiches at QB for quite a few years so having someone like Alex Smith back there is a real treat.

Every time I see Jason Witten run in the open field I kind of get sad but not for the reason many might think - not 49ers related. It feels like he labors SO much when he runs. Almost painful to watch anymore.

STL went up 14-0 and then went for a surprise onside kick and STL recovered.

Then got 3 out of it.

---------

Red zone drive stalls for NYJ and they're forced to settle for another 3 vs. CAR. Tied at 6.
