Nah, that was just a small mountain lake we were at, it takes 2 hours to get there but it's nice.

The places we go you have to have some oxygen in your tanks brother, If your not used to the air and altitude here it can fuck you up! We usually 4 wheel as far as we can and then hike the rest of the way to our destination. A good day pack is all you really need for fishing gear and some nutrition. The latter being of utmost importance.

I was going to hook Tox up with some gear but we don't have anything for chasing hookers and cabs!

I'm not too worried about the elevations or the physical stuff. I did a little time as a helicopter crew chief in the military. Been to some pretty cool places. All I will pretty much do on my weekends (and a couple full weeks) until the end of the summer is live outdoors. Almost all of my gear will be packed waiting to be thrown in my truck at all times. If it isn't already there.
I've taken my wife on some killer vacations over the years and this year we've decided to go cheaper and go a lot! Time was usually a big issue, but now I work for myself, which pretty much means that I might go fishing this afternoon.

That's funny. You drive 2 hrs by car.....hike 2-4 hrs up into the mountains where the air is thin....then you sit down and get high. Smart.
