Crazy game in the other women's olympic soccer semi. France could have scored 2 inside of 3 minutes to tie in the 2nd half vs Japan. "Could have" if she had scored the peno.

an Algerian runner has been DQ'd for dogging it in the 800m.
apparently he was listed in the race but didn't want to be (he was there for the 1,500)
jogged part of it, hung out in the infield and cheered on the other racers for a while.
was pretty funny. apparently he will need a doctor's note to be re-instated for the 1500
